Diptera: wood gnats
Small gnat with patterned wings but clear wing tips. Thorax rather dark, with black longitudinal bands and pale flanks. Probably S. punctatus and differing from other recorded Sylvicola from here in lacking black tips to wings. In moth light trap 4th October, 2024.
