Spiders
Medium-sized spider variably patterned but with characteristic pale carapace with central, dark tuning-fork mark. Anterior legs longest. Late occurrence in year (29th September) is strongly suggestive of segmentata but distinction from the very similar M. mengei requires microscope observation.
On decaying wood near greenhouse.
